• Develop new business opportunities and close new account business from retailer and consumer goods members
• Effectively advise and influence customers through consultative selling techniques
• Research the customer environment and organization to be able to identify key client areas for maximum business impact
• Articulate the solution in terms of value/ROI to the customer
• Utilize other P2PI team members including membership coordinators, editorial staff, media sales, event and executive management to achieve business objectives
• Rely on excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to initiate and maintain executive-level interaction and customer satisfaction
• Provide client and prospect feedback to improve and develop new analytic solution products incorporating software, professional services, and customer services
• 7-10 years experience in selling data insight services and marketing solutions specifically in the advertising and/or shopper marketing space.
• Demonstrated success in sales. High percentage success record for making sales goals
• Demonstrated success developing new account opportunities
• Demonstrated success managing a large account relationships
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team sales environment
• Retail and consumer goods industry knowledge required
• Some technical knowledge of business intelligence/ analytics is preferred
• Experience selling to Fortune 500 accounts in this vertical desired
