The Account Supervisor will lead a team that works at the speed of retail, juggling multiple assignments at any given time to deliver excellence to our clients. The Account Supervisor is responsible for strategic leadership while still managing details of business and maintaining GROUP360 Worldwide® policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop solid working relationship and function as a trusted advisor and point of contact for the client
  • Find opportunities to add client value; offering the client great ideas in a compelling way
  • Maintain frequent client interaction and seek input regarding client satisfaction
  • Anticipate and solve problems in a calm and methodical manner
  • Gain support and commitment from other departments/team members
  • Act as conduit between client and creative team and provide information and feedback regarding needs and expectations
  • Maintain relationships with Senior level client contacts
  • Provide strategic shopper marketing insights relevant to our client’s brands and channels
  • Lead & Develop presentations, recaps and competitive analysis
  • Participate in creative strategy sessions and client presentations
  • Provide proactive shopper and trade channel solutions to our clients marketing goals
  • Ensure GROUP360 procedures are followed
  • Responsible for developing junior team members capabilities to ensure overall team success
  • Provide leadership both with direct reports and cross-team members
  • Ensure the proper allocation of resources to all projects
  • Communicate budget modifications and risks to client on a proactive basis
  • Manage multiple client groups with top level client involvement as needed to support their team
  • Meet with client to identify key deliverables and scope of project, i.e. kickoff date, objectives, timelines, and expectations
  • Ensure team has all information, action items and timing in an organized fashion to facilitate the delivery of high impact work
  • Participate in download, brainstorm and internal review meetings
  • Prepare client estimates for hours, making sure all appropriate hours are included and match defined scope of work
  • Identify and introduce new ideas and solutions to create efficiency

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Advertising or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of agency account management experience
  • Shopper marketing/trade marketing, brand positioning or campaign planning experience
  • A basic knowledge of creative programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Understand print production workflows and the purpose for their existence
  • Working knowledge of multiple digital asset types and formats (graphics, photography, document files)
  • Excellent client-facing skills including written and verbal communication
  • Strong presentation skills and proficient in Keynote and/or PowerPoint
  • Ability to write client presentations that sell our capabilities and show strategic thinking when applicable
  • Strong multi-tasking, time management skills and the ability to work in fast paced environments
  • The ability to understand strategy and research solutions to help sell your work
  • Ability to think and lead strategic conversations with internal teams as well as clients
  • Ability to write inspiring Creative Briefs
